How we got engaged

Alison was forced out of work by her boss early on Friday, April 5. Chris came home and took Alison on a walk through one of their favorite places in German Village, Schiller Park. As they approached the park’s beautiful pond Chris reached into his pocket for a camera and in one swift motion got down on his knee and pulled out the perfect engagement ring before asking Alison for her hand in marriage. After a quick yes and lovely embrace, Chris turned Alison around and pointed out the photographer that had been taking pictures and a super-stretch limo pulled up to whisk them away.

The beautiful couple were taken to Goodale park to take a few more pictures, this was where they had enjoyed their first kiss. After one more stop at the Scioto Mile, where the young couple had enjoyed one of their first dates, they went to Sidebar 122, the location of their first dinner-date.

After a wonderful evening of drinking, eating and pictures there was one more surprise in store, Chris had reserved the Presidential Suite at the downtown Hyatt and had adorned the room with rose pedals, a sunflower/rose bouquet and chocolate-covered-strawberries.
